A Broken Industry
In the world of custom home architecture, Kendle emerged as a trailblazer with a mission to revolutionize a fractured industry. Witnessing firsthand the inefficiencies and shortcomings of traditional design methods—where over half of the homes designed never saw the light of day. Kendle identified the root of the problem: a superficial understanding of clients and their goals, leading to clients being saddled with mismatched expectations and dissatisfied with designs.
A Unique Path to Architecture
Kendle’s journey was not typical. While she pursued her architectural education, she paralleled this with an intense study of personal development, drawing inspiration from luminaries like Tony Robbins and Richard Petrie. She understood that designing a home was not just about creating a structure, but an exercise in designing the future lives of those who would dwell within. Her philosophy was grounded in the belief that the design of a home is about far more than what it looks like and the features it includes; it determines the quality of our daily lives. Our happiness is impacted by the very space we inhabit.
The Turning Point
Her career took a significant turn at a company that, despite its high-profile beginnings, rapid growth and opportunities abound, ultimately failed, leaving many without their homes or investments. This experience solidified Kendle's belief: the traditional method needed to change. She vowed to never let that happen on her watch, setting the stage for forging her own approach.

Determined to integrate the personal development principles she valued so deeply into the architectural process, Kendle founded Anz Design Studio.
